New Update: Australian Support for Iranian-Australians

We’d like to share an important update from our recent communication with the Department of Home Affairs. The Australian Government is making every effort to support its citizens and permanent residents currently in conflict zones like Iran and Israel, ensuring their safe return. Today, a flight that was initially planned to evacuate citizens from a neighboring country to the north of Iran had to return mid-route due to the closure of airspace following Iran’s recent attack on Qatar. The Department has assured us that these evacuation efforts will continue as soon as possible. They remain fully committed to supporting Australian citizens, permanent residents, and their families, and will do whatever it takes to ensure their safe return to Australia.
