We are thrilled to share that our recent IranWA member gathering was a resounding success! It was wonderful to see so many members in attendance, and we truly missed those who couldn’t join us this time.
The evening began with a warm welcome and a report from the management team, sharing IranWA’s journey so far, our mission, and the challenges we’ve faced over the past year. This was followed by a presentation by Hani, who spoke with passion about the benefits of being an IranWA member and how each person can get involved and make an impact.
We also highlighted inspiring member stories, including those who started new initiatives like the IranWA podcast and radio. These examples showed how easy and rewarding it can be to bring your ideas to life within our community.
We were also honored to have Rahap, a sychologist join us and briefly introduce herself and her work. She spoke about the importance of mental health and the potential value of support within community spaces. IranWA is excited to be working with her and other professionals to explore new support programs and initiatives that benefit our members.
A delicious dinner, generously provided by One60 Cafe, added warmth to the evening. Meanwhile, children enjoyed their own fun space with games and activities, giving the adults a chance to relax and even enjoy a few games together too.
It was a night full of connection, good conversations, and community spirit. We look forward to many more gatherings like this and to continuing this journey together — with you.
