📜 Terms & Conditions – Volleyball Tournament
Event Date: Sunday, 21st September 2025
Venue: Craigie Leisure Centre
Hosted by: IRANWA SPORTS CLUB
By registering a team, you agree to the following:
1. Registration & Payment
Registration fee: $150 per team (6–8 players).
Payment must be made in full at registration.
No refunds will be issued, as venue hire and event costs are prepaid.
2. Team & Refereeing
Teams must have 6–8 players, all aged 18+.
Each team must nominate one referee, who will officiate games in the opposite pool.
3. Schedule & Format
Arrival: 9:30 am for warm-up, pool allocations, and optional team photos.
Games start: 10:00 am sharp.
Format: Two groups of three teams. Each team plays two games.
The winner of each group (decided by wins, then set difference, then points difference if needed) advances to the Final at 1:00 pm.
Match length: Up to 45 minutes, or best of 3 sets (25–25–15).
4. Match Rules
Starting serve: Rock–paper–scissors.
Referees’ decisions are final.
5. Sportsmanship & Spirit Award
Players are expected to maintain fair play, respect, and good sportsmanship at all times.
A Spirit Award will be presented to the team that shows the best attitude, respect, and enthusiasm.
Voting will be paper-based and open to all teams before the Final match.
The results will be announced after the Final.
6. Safety & Responsibility
Players participate at their own risk.
Organizers are not responsible for injuries, lost items, or personal belongings.
Teams are encouraged to warm up and play safely.
