Membership Terms and Conditions

1) Introduction
1.1 These terms and conditions govern your membership of Iranians in Western Australia (IranWA), ABN 25 358 826 352 (the "Organization"). By becoming a member, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.2 Membership is open to individuals who support the mission of the Organization, which can be found on the organization's website.
1.3 Membership requests will be assessed by the Board of Directors, who reserve the right to approve or reject any membership request in their sole discretion.
2) Membership Requirements
2.1 To become a member, you must complete the membership application form, which can be found on the Organization's website, and pay the annual membership fee.
2.2 Membership is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
3) Membership Benefits
3.1 As a member of the Organization, you will receive access to exclusive events, discounts on events and merchandise, and opportunities to network with other members.
3.2 You will also receive regular updates on the Organization's activities and events, as well as opportunities to participate in the Organization's committees and volunteer activities.
4) Membership Fees
4.1 The annual membership fee is set by the Organization's Board of Directors and is subject to change at any time.
4.2 Membership fees are non-refundable.
5) Membership Renewal
5.1 Membership is valid for one year from the date of payment.
5.2 Members will receive a reminder when their membership is due for renewal.
5.3 Memberships can be renewed online or by contacting the Organization's Membership Director.
6) Termination of Membership
6.1 The Organization may terminate a member's membership for any reason, including but not limited to failure to comply with these terms and conditions or the Organization's bylaws, conduct that is harmful to the Organization's reputation, or failure to pay the annual membership fee.
7) Annual General Meeting and Voting Rights
7.1 The Organization will hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June or July every year, at which members will have voting rights.
7.2 Members will receive notice of the AGM at least two weeks in advance and will have the opportunity to nominate themselves or others for election to the Board of Directors.
7.3 Each member is entitled to one vote at the AGM.
8) Amendments to Terms and Conditions
8.1 The Organization reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
8.2 Members will be notified of any changes to these terms and conditions via email or other means.
8.3 Continued membership in the Organization following any changes to these terms and conditions constitutes acceptance of the amended terms and conditions.
9) Privacy of Personal Information
9.1 The Organization takes the privacy of its members seriously and is committed to protecting their personal information.
9.2 Personal information collected from members will only be used for the purposes of administering their membership and communicating with them about the Organization's activities and events.
9.3 The Organization will not share members' personal information with third parties without their consent, except where required by law.
10) Financial Reports
10.1 Members have the right to request access to the Organization's financial reports.
10.2 Financial reports will be made available upon request to the Organization's Treasurer or Board of Directors.
11) Confidentiality
11.1 Members agree not to disclose any confidential information about the Organization, including but not limited to financial information, internal processes, or any other information that could harm the Organization's reputation.
11.2 The Organization may take legal action against any member who breaches this confidentiality clause.
11.3 This confidentiality clause survives the termination of a member's membership in the Organization.
